Community Guidelines

CWiki Community
CWiki is a great place to read and write about CW Shows. Please respect others and in case of disagreements, focus on the subject matter and refrain from personal attacks. Members are expected to have fun, while conducting themselves appropriately and using basic common sense and online etiquette. Although The CW is not responsible for the content on the CWiki, we reserve the right to remove any posting that, in our sole judgment, does not meet the established guidelines below.
Specific Guidelines
In all areas of CWiki, members of The CW Community should refrain from:
• Explicit, vulgar, obscene and/or profane language.
• Posting or referencing sexually explicit images, text, or other offensive content.
• Racially or ethnically offensive content.
• Depictions or descriptions of gratuitous violence.
• Posting material that defames, abuses, or threatens physical harm to others or oneself or otherwise contains illegal content.
• Discussions or incitement of illegal activity.
• Providing specific, identifiable information, including but not limited to any of the following: full name, home address, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, instant messaging screen names, or name of school.
• Soliciting for the exchange of sexually explicit images, and/or material harmful to minors; including but not limited to photographs, film, videos, pictures, or computer-generated images (actual or simulated).
• Harassing, threatening, embarrassing, or doing anything else to another community member that is unwanted.
• Offering for sale products or services.
• Infringing anyone's intellectual property rights, including but not limited to any copyright, trademark, rights of publicity, or other proprietary rights.
• Soliciting for advertisers or sponsors.
• Posting of sponsorships, ads, and banners.
• Impersonating or representing The CW, The CW staff, actors and other show personnel, community leaders or public or private figures.
• Linking to content not allowed under these guidelines or under The CW's Terms of Use.
• Solicitation of a member's password.
• Harvesting of screen names.
• Spamming of CWiki, other community areas of the CWTV.com website such as message boards, community members, folders, and search engines.
• Posting in any language other than English.
• Replacing text or images that have been removed by a moderator.
We encourage all members of the community to take an active role in keeping The CW's CWiki community lively and fun. Here are some ways you can make a difference:
• Report an offensive article or disruptive editing by sending a message to cwiki-moderators@register.cwtv.com
Other information:
Bear in mind that The CW Lounge community is "public," and other users will have access to your posted material and could copy, modify or distribute it. By submitting or posting content here, you represent that you are the owner of such material or have authorization to distribute it. Once you post content in these areas, you expressly grant The CW the complete right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, etc. the content in any form, anywhere.
The CW does not control or endorse the content found in any area of its online Community. Therefore, The CW specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the content and any actions resulting from your participation. Although we are not responsible for any content on the CWiki, The CW reserves the right at all times to disclose any information necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request or the request of a legitimately interested third party, or to edit, refuse to post, or to remove any information, posting or material, in whole or in part, that, in our judgment, does not meet our guidelines. The CW Online Community is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13.
The CW reserves the right to make changes to these guidelines at any time, and you agree to be bound by any such changes.
